On March 24, the Covind-19 vaccination site of Wenzhou University was officially put into use, and the large-scale vaccination campaign for teachers and students was launched.

A special working group for vaccination was set up to communicate closely with the local health center and coordinate the work. In order to improve the efficiency of vaccination and solve the problem of limited space, the university renovated the third floor of the basketball hall into a square-cabin vaccination spot, and set up waiting area, pre-inspection area, registration and signing area, vaccination area, observation area, and emergency response area.

The reporter saw that teachers and students who had registered in advance were queuing up outside to enter the stadium. After checking the ID card and signing the consent form, the first jab was administered. There are 5 vaccination stations and about 15 medical workers. According to reports, during the winter vacation, more than 400 teachers completed the vaccination at the local health center. At present, the vaccination work is organized and implemented in batches by departments, colleges and classes. It is planned to vaccinate about 350 people every hour. The amount of vaccination is expected to reach more than two thousand per day, and more than 13,000 teachers and students will be inoculated by the end of April.

The person in charge of the vaccination site said that the medical staff there could only be engaged in vaccination work after strict training. All vaccines are subject to 24-hour temperature monitoring. All teachers and students have to present their ID cards under the guidance of volunteers. After checking the information to confirm their identity, health workers will inquire about their physical condition in detail, and after confirmation, the vaccination can be arranged. All those who have been inoculated shall stay for 30 minutes to ensure there is no discomfort before they leave.
